The traditional food supply chain
The fresh food we normally eat is not as fresh as we think. An orange in a supermarket is on average 4 months old. An apple is on average 12 months old.
To last that long, food is preserved with surface treatments. Half of the fruits and vegetables tested by the EFSA in 2019 contained chemical residues.
Disrupting the food industry
We shorten and digitize the food supply chain
Fresh.Land allows consumers to buy directly from farmers, bypassing up to 5 middlemen. We developed a pioneering and award-wining digital platform that shortens and digitizes the food supply chain, democratizing access to good quality food.
Fresh.Land allows consumers to buy directly from farmers, bypassing up to 5 middlemen. We developed a pioneering and award-wining digital platform that shortens and digitizes the food supply chain.
We are rethinking the food supply chain and creating a more sustainable model. According to WWF, “Fresh.Land can save 88% of CO₂ from storage and reduce food waste by 10%, saving 12.7 million tons of CO₂ annually by 2026”. Ultimately, our aim is to make Fresh.Land an integral part of our daily lives — allow consumers to make climate-smart choices and order fresh, natural produce directly from trees and fields and foster the shift to a more plant-based diet.
The trees are our warehouse
Now you can get products delivered to your home, straight from the farm. The products are only harvested after you order. They are shipped without any surface treatments and arrive to you in only four days. There is no unnecessary packaging and no food waste on the way.
